Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) formerly known as M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) is an Autonomous Private Engineering Institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The Institute that is part of the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) was established in the year 1962. MSRIT offers various specializations in streams like Engineering, Architecture, Biotechnology, Management, Computer Science and Technology at UG, PG and Ph.D. level.

Admission In MSRIT

Students from all over India participate in the RIT admission process and apply to the UG, PG and research programmes offered by the institute. RIT Bangalore offers BE & B.Tech courses at the undergraduate level, MBA, MCA, M.Tech and M.Arch courses at postgraduate level and research programs leading to PhD or M.Sc (Engineering) degree in different departments. For each course, there is a different eligibility criterion. Candidates who aspire to be a part of this renowned institute have to clear the RIT admission process that includes different selection rounds, such as entrance test, group discussion, interview and counselling process.

The RIT admission process for BE/B.Tech is based on the merit in the entrance test conducted by KEA or COMEDK. For admission in the B.Arch course, candidates have to appear in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). For admission in the MBA course, candidates have to participate in one of the following entrance exams – KMAT/ PGCET/ MAT/ CMAT. According to the RIT admission process, candidates have to appear either for PGCET or KMAT to enrol in the MCA programme. For admission in M.Tech or M.Arch programmes, candidates must have qualified GATE or PGCET. MSRIT Undergraduate Admissions

Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Admission in BE course requires a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination and a valid score in CET conducted by KEA/COMEDK. The four-year Bachelor’s course in BE is divided into eight semesters during which students learn the basic concepts of engineering and technology. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)

Admission to Bachelor’s course in Architecture requires a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination and at least 40% marks in NATA. The course covers a wide range of topics, from details of landscape construction technology to community-scale landscape planning.

B.Arch Admission Process
